Greetings! I am Kim Kavala, president and founder of Legata Leadership Solutions. I am passionate about developing leaders and strive to help individuals and organizations achieve their full potential. I have been told that my “superpower” is my ability to see the big picture and be strategic while also diving deeply into the details and root causes of performance challenges.

My more than 25 years of experience as a leader in various business contexts enables me to bring a pragmatic approach to my work, leading to straightforward solutions and measurable results. With a focus on talent management, organizational and talent development, and leadership development, I have worked for distinguished Fortune 500 companies such as McDonald’s, Whirlpool, PNC Bank, and Assurant. I have built several functions from the ground up, created and executed new leadership development strategies, led change management and cultural integration efforts for six large acquisitions, and served as an internal coach to top-ranking executives.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Education in Adult Education from Penn State University. As a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), certified in both executive coaching and organizational development coaching, I leverage my education and experience to offer well-rounded and innovative coaching and development solutions.

In my personal life, I cherish my roles as wife, mom and grandma, and enjoy gardening and working on my family’s small farm. I value hard work, positive mindset and perseverance.
